May is Here: So what next??

Living the Lockdown Life

Here in UK we are approaching the 7th week of lockdown. @__@;

Although our coronavirus quarantine has not been as strict as some other parts of Europe (i.e. we can still go to some shops, leave the house for a walk etc), the majority of us did obediently spend most of our time at home. It is a strange and delirious experience, isn’t it? Shielding from an invisible enemy, having to re-wire your instincts and not interact with other people.

Whether your country is beginning to ease lockdown or still going through it, I hope you guys are keeping safe and healthy! Did you pick up any new hobbies? Or have you binge watched everything on your list?

I thought I would wrap up Witcher 3 and its DLCs during this lockdown, but actually, I hardly touched it!!!

Instead, I’ve been out in the garden busting my ass… All I wanted was to plant some pretty news things, but goddammit, invasive vines have unknowingly taken over half the yard so we have to dig everything up… As a result, I was labouring outdoor for most of April and did NOTHING for the website. ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭

A steady trickle of new factory extra goods have been released though (praise!), so I shall start adding things to the shop again!

What next for HachiSales???

Several European countries seem to have the virus under control and will ease lockdown from mid May. Some states in the US have/are also opening back up. (humm)

International postal service between UK / Europe / North America has remained operational albeit at slower speed during lockdown. If things start to get back to ~normal, I could open the shop back up and start shipping Buy Now Goods again.

Regarding Group Orders, travel between Asian countries is still restricted. Although I COULD pay an agent to pickup the goods, the second obstacle remains! No EMS or any airmail service coming to UK!!! Only surface mail! (They do EMS/airmail to all across Europe, just not UK! Ughhh)

With the way things are now, I wouldn’t want to risk sending anything on a month long journey. :/

So, another 4 weeks of pandemic life have passed, but the situation largely remains the same.

If the EMS/airmail situation gets resolved, I would consider running Group Orders again. Let’s give it another 2 weeks and see how things stand! Will report back later this month!!
