ABOUT HACHISALES

HachiSales is a shopping service for factory extra anime merch – reasonably priced goods that can be selected by single characters rather than buying blind packs or a full set.

We mostly offer rubber straps and acrylic items.

These so-called factory extras are excess stock produced by the official merch manufacturers – NOT bootlegs.

When ordering from official retailers, you have to buy the full set or find friends to split with. In shop, you have to buy blind and pray you don’t hate what you get. If you want one specific design, you can bid on auctions or buy from secondhand shops. However, if your fave is popular or if the item is old or rare, the price is not gonna be pretty… or it might just never show up for sale!!

When it comes to factory extras, you are free to pick and choose. Even shop/box bonuses or event exclusives could be available individually!

If you collect specific characters or want to make itabags, our service should be helpful to you.

If you use a VPN, the website’s spam filter might incorrectly identify you as spam. You might not be able to send message via the Contact HachiSales form or sign up for a shopping account. 🙁

SHOP

Before each Group Order, the shop listings are updated to match the suppliers’ stock levels.

Sold out items will be removed, new releases or re-stocked items will be added.

  • If a character is missing from the “Choose an option” drop down menu = it is currently sold out.
  • When you choose a character, if it shows “x in stock” = it is nearly sold out. If an item has a reasonable amount available, I won’t state any stock number.

However, please understand that the suppliers’ stock is fluid and things could become sold out during a Group Order. 

When I’m ready to order goods on your behalf, that’s when I do the FINAL STOCK CHECK. 

If anything is sold out at this point, I’ll alert you. You can have a refund for the unavailable item or choose a replacement item.

If you can add a Buy Now Item to basket, that means it is available.

As the items on offer are factory extras, there can be issues such as missing print details on rubber straps, or acrylic stands having randomly assigned rather than character specific base.

If I’m aware of any issue, they will be declared under “Things to Note” on the product’s page.

In addition to the series covered in the Shop, rubber straps and acrylic goods from other series are also available (although the amount of items vary depending on the series’ popularity).

If you are interested in a particular series or character, please let me know and I can check what’s available.

Don’t request too late though! If a Group Order is near to closing, there might not be enough time left to check!

I can only offer what my suppliers have. 90% of their stock consist of rubber straps or acrylic items.

Generally they don’t carry other types of merchandise (e.g. plushie, figures).

GROUP ORDERS

We hold several Group Orders a year. During this time, you can order anything in the Shop. (i.e. combining Group Order & Buy Now items is fine)

Please check Group Order Status to see if a Group Order is currently open.

Here at HachiSales, a Group Order simply means everyone shopping at the same time.

You choose what you want. Other participants choose what they want.

Then I buy what everyone wants and ship the goods over from Asia.

This makes the cost per person cheaper. 👍🏻

  1. When a Group Order is open, you can order anything in the Shop. (Combining Group Order & Buy Now items is fine)
  2. On the basket page, choose the shipping method you want, then proceed to checkout. No payment is required at this stage.
  3. After submitting your order, you will receive an auto summary email. (If nothing arrives, please check your spam folder.)
  4. After checking that everything you want are in-stock, I’ll email you confirming the total cost of your order (items + shipping + paypal fees).
  5. If you’re happy to proceed with the order, PLEASE REPLY and I’ll issue a paypal invoice to you. (If you do not have a paypal account, the invoice will be sent to your main email. Paypal has an option to pay by card as a guest, without logging into paypal.)
  6. Please pay before the Group Order deadline, otherwise your order will be cancelled.
  7. After payment is received, I’ll secure your items.

Regular updates will also be posted on the Group Order Status page. For example, whether new goods came into stock last minute, if the suppliers have dispatched the goods yet, are the goods on their way to me, or when your packages are being prepared for shipping.

Updates are also posted via tumblr, twitter, and Instagram stories.

If you’ve not yet paid for your order, you can change or cancel your order. Please contact me to confirm your changes.

If you’ve paid for your order, I would have proceeded to secure your items. You can no longer cancel any item.

If the Group Order is still open, then yes, you’re welcome to add more items to your existing order.

Please submit another order, and I’ll combine the orders for you.

If you can’t make the Group Order payment deadline and need more time, please contact me to discuss.

If no arrangement is made, any unpaid order will be automatically cancelled after the Group Order deadline.

If an item goes out of stock before you have paid, I will notify you and remove it from the invoice.

If you’ve already paid the invoice, you could have a refund for that item or choose a replacement item.

Shop listings are updated before each Group Order opens to reflect the suppliers’ latest stock levels. Nevertheless, popular items or things which are low in stock could become sold out during a Group Order. 😖

BUY NOW

There is usually extra stock leftover after each Group Order is completed. They are labelled as Buy Now Items in the Shop.

These items are ready for immediately shipping throughout the year. No need to wait for a Group Order to buy them.

  1. Buy Now Items are labelled with [Buy Now] in the Shop.
  2. On the basket page, choose the shipping method you want, then proceed to checkout. No payment is required at this stage.
  3. After submitting your order, you will receive an auto confirmation email.
  4. After checking that everything you want are in-stock, I’ll email you confirming the total cost of your order (items + shipping + paypal fees).
  5. If you’re happy to proceed with the order, PLEASE REPLY and I’ll issue a paypal invoice to you. (If you do not have a paypal account, the invoice will be sent to your main email. Paypal offers the option to pay by card as a guest, without logging in.)
  6. After payment is received, your order will be prepared for shipping.

If you’ve not yet paid for your order, please contact me to confirm your changes.

If you’ve already paid for your order, please let me know of any change ASAP, because I’ll start preparing your package for shipping.

After I have emailed you with your total cost, if you are non-responsive after 48 hours, your order will be cancelled.

After the invoice is issued, if you don’t pay within 48 hours, your order will be cancelled. (If you need more time, please contact me to discuss.)

Generally I will try to get in touch to check the situation. However, if I can’t find you or communicate with you, I’ll cancel your order to release the items back to the Shop.

PAYMENT

Item prices are listed in £/GBP/British Pounds and do not include shipping.

Invoices are sent via paypal.

After receiving your order, I will email you to confirm the total cost of your order. This will include:

  1. Goods cost (i.e. checkout basket total)
  2. Shipping cost
  3. Paypal fees

If you’re happy with the total cost, PLEASE REPLY to let me know you want to proceed with the order.

If you’re happy with your order total, I’ll send a payment request via paypal.

Your paypal account will convert my £/GBP invoice to your local currency.

After you’ve paid, your order is finalized.

  • If it’s a Group Order, I’ll proceed to secure your items.
  • If you’re purchasing Buy Now Items, I’ll prepare your package for shipping.

If you don’t have a paypal account, you can still receive paypal invoices via a regular email address.

When you received the payment request email, there will be 2 options – “Log in to Pay” and “Pay Without a Paypal Account”.

Choosing the second option will take you to a card payment page.

Some Group Order Items are low in stock and could become sold out while a Group Order is still open. That’s why I prefer to manually check whether everything you want are in stock before accepting payment.

SHIPPING

If the UK post office ships to your country, then I’m happy to ship to you.

I regularly ship to UK, Europe, North America, Australia, the UAE and Singapore. 

I can ship to South America, but only via tracked/registered airmail, as delay is too frequent.

If in doubt, feel free to contact me before ordering to confirm. 😌👌🏻

Tracked airmail is recommended if:

  • You have an expensive order
  • The postal service in your country is unreliable or has long delay

Insurance levels:

  • Standard airmail covers up to £20 loss or damage.
  • Tracked airmail covers up to £50 loss or damage.
  • If additional insurance for your order is required, it can be added to tracked airmail at extra cost. The thresholds are up to £50 / £100 / £250 / £500

Orders are generally packaged in a lightweight padded envelope.

If your order contains fragile items that need extra support (e.g. acrylic stands, printed material), I will use cardboard insert or additional bubble wrap to keep the items sturdy.

In certain circumstances, your order may need to be shipped in a cardboard box. But I try to avoid that as more weight means more expensive shipping for you.

I am not responsible for loss in transit. However, if you fail to receive your package 1 month after the shipping date, please let me know and I’ll contact the UK post office on your behalf.

If the item(s) is damaged upon arrival:

  1. Please KEEP the packaging (envelope and wrappings)
  2. Take photos of the packaging and damaged item(s), send them to me

I’ll try to arrange a free replacement the next time you order, or a refund.
