About this Group Order

Only a few months have passed since our autumn 2021 Group Order, yet so much has changed in the world. 😳😰😞

Like I mentioned in the recent update, I feel guilty and ridiculous to be opening a Group Order when there are atrocities happening in the world. Nevertheless, our process already began in February with me pre-ordering a batch of goods. There are people who trust me to deliver their orders, and there are people who have been eagerly waiting for this opportunity. Abandoning this half way doesn’t help anything, so it is best to carry on and get this Group Order completed.

Hopefully getting to buy something you like will bring you a bit of joy in these uncertain times. 💛

Provisional Timeline

(Edited on 30 March – timings have been pushed back, due to unexpected covid lockdown in Shanghai, which lasts till at least 5 April)

8 March – Group Order opens.
21 March – Group Order closes. Please submit your order and pay before this date.
w/c 21 March – Finish ordering goods on your behalf.
26 March – Accepting additional order on specific TWST sets
29 March – Deadline for additional TWST goods. Finalise orders with suppliers & await dispatch
Mid April – Goods reaching my friend in Asia.
Late April – Friend will ship goods to the UK by EMS.
Early May – Goods arriving in the UK.
By mid May – Dispatching goods from the UK to you.

Shipped the final packages today! 🎊 Sent the shipping notifications earlier, and then emailed those of you with tracking numbers just now.
omg this 2022 March (!!) Group Order is now COMPLETED!!!!! The unexpected lockdown in Shanghai truly threw a wench in our schedule. I am very thankful that those of you affected by the delay were forgiving and willing to wait an extra two months. 🥵
Before, I intended to hold another Group Order this summer (July, aka NOW), but there’s still sporadic lockdowns in China & restrictions in Hong Kong. This means the range of new goods isn’t as varied as usual, and logistics challenges remain. Consequently I’ll wait to do another Group Order later. 🤔

FYI there’s been a changed of plan! Decided not to do a mini Group Order this month, and will just ship the delayed Shanghai items.
My cousin is having things shipped over this month, so my bits can join his parcel. ✌🏻 Will update once I know when it’s happening.

Been offline these last few days as it was the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and we had 4 days off~ 🥳
I’ve returned with good news! Your goods held up in Shanghai have been shipped! 🙏 My friend should receive them end of this week.
I’m planning to pick up some more items to make the EMS shipping to UK more worthwhile. (When 1kg costs £32, I’d rather do 10kg for £125. 🥴🥴🥴) Will have a look at what’s new and perhaps open a mini Group Order.

Re: the Shanghai situation, everything is moving in the right direction. The city is relaxing lockdown restrictions, and my supplier believes they can ship things again by mid June (according to local headlines they saw today). 👍🏻

According to the tracking, these packages are all ready to leave the UK tonight. 🙌🏻 As all the tracked packages are heading for the US, let’s see which state will win the race this time!
As for those of you opting for standard airmail, the average speed in the past year or so is:
– Europe: 2-3 weeks
– US: 1-2 weeks
– Australia: 2-3 weeks
– Canada: 2-3 weeks

Today I have shipped all packages, minus the 6 orders with items stuck in Shanghai. 😘

They include items from Haikyuu, Twisted Wonderland, Jujutsu Kaisen, Bungo Stray Dogs, BNHA, Demon Slayer. A few JJK & TWST items weren’t previously offered in the Shop.
If you would like to add something to your existing order, please let me know / submit a new order before Thursday 19 May. I’ll then combine them with your order and ship everything out together later this week.

Shipping Preparation:

I’ve now packed all the orders! And discovered 2 incorrect items sighhh… I have contacted the affected individuals to arrange a solution. 😓
Everyone else’s packages are fine and good for shipping later this week.
I have not yet confirmed shipping cost with several people with bulky items. Will do that tomorrow/Tuesday after I’ve weighted your packages.

Shanghai Situation

According to the latest news, Shanghai is set to re-open on 1 June. 🤨
I’ll contact those of you with delayed items again and confirm your preference in light of the news.
If Shanghai successfully re-opens, I’ll probably hold a summer Group Order. If I have to ship a dozen items, better to ship more things at the same time eh~ (Plus some new goods came out this month)

This week I’ll be packing your orders, with the aim to post next week. This will give us time to look at leftover items, check if anyone’s address needs changing, and to fill in custom forms (aka the most time consuming task of all ugh).

Having to wait longer is not ideal, but at least we know for sure the items are in-stock here. They are just stuck and can’t be dispatched. Better to wait for a reliable supplier who never messed me around, then to seek dubious sources. There are worse things than waiting for someone with a legit reason!

The TWST towels have arrived! 🤗 My friend gave me a fright yelling about one of the towels being badly smudged. 😨 Then I looked at the pic and, PHEW! That’s how Kalim’s design is supposed to look! Don’t scare me like that omg. 😂
We now have EVERYTHING except for the items stuck in Shanghai. In contrary to what we believed at the start of the week, they have announced a TIGHTENING of the covid restrictions instead of easing (coz deaths have been rising). 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴 5 weeks and no end in sight yet…
As a result, I have decided to ship whatever already arrived to the UK first. That way, I can dispatch the majority of your orders asap.
The stuck items will be shipped over at a later date, when Shanghai reopens. Several of you are affected by this split, and I’ll be in touch by email soon to check your preference.
I’ll ask my friend to prep for EMS shipping by the end of April.

After the Easter holidays, my friend has picked up a delivery – the TWST exhibition stands plus other extra bits we ordered at the end of March. 😊
The TWST towels are in a separate package, so they might pick that up later this week.
We are on track to have everything ready, EXCEPT the items stuck in Shanghai lockdown. 😢 That batch only contains a dozen items out of the 350+ in this Group Order, but it include goods which are no longer available anywhere else.
It appears the city is eager to reopen soon, as this week some factories are permitted to restart production. Since we are still waiting for the towels to arrive, I’m prepared to watch this space for another week. If the situation remains unchanged by the end of April, I’ll EMS what we have to the UK first, so I could dispatch the majority of your packages. The remaining bits I’ll ship over later when ready.

Happy Easter, everyone! 🐣 Hope you are enjoying the holiday (if it is celebrated in your country).
My friend picked up a small batch of goods earlier this week. It includes some of the TWST/JJK goods we added at the end of March (the Exhibition Stands are in a separate batch) and some late/replacement bits.
Looking at the tracking, the TWST towels should be ready for pick up next week? Hopefully the Exhibition stands + towels could be collected at the same time, then 95% of our goods would be ready!
(Normally I can accurately estimate the pick up time, but the current covid restrictions in Hong Kong makes things getting into the city a lot slower sighhh)

Sorry for the silence! Nothing happened last week, but we now have some goods news! The TWST towels were dispatched today! 🥳
This leaves just the Shanghai package still awaiting dispatch. 😖 The city is sadly still under tight covid lockdown, but this week there are talks that restrictions could be eased for specific areas with no new cases. Will have to wait and see.
Our next step is to wait for everything (minus the Shanghai package) to reach my friend. If when all the goods have arrived, there is still no change on the Shanghai front, I’ll consider shipping the available goods first. ✈ Don’t want to keep you guys waiting for too long!
Fingers-crossed the situation changes in Shanghai, because it is expensive to do 2 EMS packages instead of 1 big one… 🥵

Below are pics of the goods that have been delivered so far! 🤩 Excuse the quality, my friend doesn’t care about anime and handling my packages is a chore for them. 😂 Apologies if things appear jumbled up. They were dispatched at different times, as and when I ordered them.
I have checked through the items – a Kirishima nitotan is missing (they will replace it), a Leona sugar pochette rubber strap is unavailable (they say it’s now sold out… 😠 I will contact the affected participant).
Regarding the remaining goods:
– some bits have already been dispatched. My friend should get them this week. 🚚
– The final batch of TWST goods we ordered after the Group Order closed will be dispatched this week. 🙌🏻
– This leaves only 2 packages still awaiting dispatch: the TWST towels and the batch coming from Shanghai. Both locations are still in covid lockdown. Will monitor the situation for a bit longer. 🙁

My friend received a batch of goods this weekend. I’ll upload the pics to show what’s been delivered. 😚
We are waiting for last 3 things to be dispatched – the Shanghai package, the TWST towels, and the TWST exhibition standees etc added on late. Lockdown is lasting till at least Tues 5 April (which happens to be a public holiday anyway), so we shall see what happens later in the week.
Other goods have all been dispatched by suppliers. Just need to wait for them to be delivered to my friend’s place, hopefully some time this week.

Chatted with the Shanghai supplier yesterday. They reckon no dispatch until after 5 April. I thought each side of the city would be allowed out during the other half’s lockdown, but they said the courier has closed and they are staying home for the whole duration. 😴 The TWST towels factory now also say no dispatch until 5 days later.
The delay is inconvenient, but I’m not worried. What doesn’t get affected by international logistics these days? Just gotta sit tight and wait until dispatch or another update~ 🤓

In other news, Shanghai has officially announced covid lockdown today. 😷 Half the city will shut from today until 1 April, the other half will shut from 1st to 5th April. I’ve messaged the affected supplier about their situation/dispatch ETA. Will update when I know more!

2022.03.26 – Last Minute TWST Order

I’ve ordered all your items this week! 😁 2/3 have already been dispatched. I expect my friend will get them in a week or so. Logistics are a bit slower than usual due to covid restrictions in Hong Kong.
1/3 are not yet dispatched, because Shanghai started rolling lockdown this week due to covid outbreak. 😩 The city is not officially in lockdown, but neighbourhoods are so my supplier is working from home and not shipping packages. Recent lockdowns in other cities lasted about a week, so service should return in April.
Since we have to wait for dispatch, I’ll be accepting additional orders on several TWST sets, including the newly available Mini Acrylic Stands released for the Twisted Wonderland Exhibition happening in Japan. Please submit your order by Tuesday 29 March 2022.
(tbh I’ve been processing TWST orders every day even after the G.O. deadline, sending order amendments to my suppliers multiple times lol 😂 Might as well make it official now)
