HachiSales has a new look!

Back in March/April I rushed to open the new web shop so we could have it in time for the April Group Order. However, this partial upgrade split the website into old and new territory, and caused confusion for many new visitors. Despite my effort to hide the shopping card after the Group Order ended (haha), a handful of you still mistakenly tried to order things.

Oof what a messy few weeks for everyone…

After another month of work (& again lots of learning!), the website is now closer to how I’d like it to be!

Main Website Changes

Clarity for New Customers

When can I join a Group Order? Which goods are in-stock and ready to be bought now? This distinction was a problem for some new customers.

I’ve now added 4 steps instruction boxes to the shopping pages (Group Order, Buy Now, Shop Catalogue, individual product pages), which should clarify things.

Shop Version 2.0

Shop version 1.0 worked fine, but its layout was clunky and not the best. This new design has a much nicer interface and a few useful additions:

• Wishlist – now you can bookmark the sets you like to buy later
• Quick View – when browsing products (e.g. in the BNHA section), you can now check which characters are in-stock and add things to basket, without going into individual product pages

Improved Mobile Interface

If you browse exclusively on mobile, this new theme will work tons better. Try it out!

And so these are the main improvements made to the site, and I hope you like them!!!

Apart from deadlinks in old new stories linking to the old Catalogue (can’t be bothered to deal with them yet), everything else should be working fine.

If you spot anything broken / weird looking, or you don’t like how something works, let me know!

The new look/structure of the website is now completed, but there are still many content updates waiting….

I need to sort through all the in-stock stuffs, take new photos, and relist them. This job’s gonna take a while aye~

New Goods to add!

Ahh many new sets have been released since the April Group Order.

We have stuffs from Cardcaptor Sakura, Bungo Stray Dogs, Idolish7, Fate, Touken Ranbu~

There’s even something from The Promised Neverland! :O I haven’t read/watched it, but it seems to be a hot Jump series eh?

New Series to add!

Before the next Group Order, I’ll add the 2 Code Geass sets you requested.

Could add the Kuroshitsuji sets, if there is real interest.

(Unless you tell me you WANT something, I’m gonna assume it’s casual curiosity and not a real request.)

Old Series…to add?

Humm, unsure if I want to add Yuri on Ice, Love Live and Daiya no Ace Those are the main improvements made to the site, and I hope you like them!!! back into the Catalogue yet.

If there’s nothing new, and you guys already bought the designs you wanted back in 2017/18, it feels like a pointless exercise when there are enough new stuffs to deal with.

Maybe leave these till when I have nothing to do….

Next Group Order

There’s only about a month to do EVERYTHING (ahhhhhh), because I’d like to host the next Group Order in July 2019 (for shipping to you in August).
