July Group Order completed! Thanks for supporting HachiSales during covid!

Operating in a Covid World

Kinda off topic, but as time went by, I really don’t fancy calling it the JULY Group Order! ( ･`ω･´) It sounds like it was from a LONG ASS time ago, when in fact the Group Order only closed in early August! (Should start naming Group Orders with its deadline month from now on haha)

But to be fair, things did progress slower than usual this time. It was probably the Group Order with the longest waiting time to date, apart from those occasions when I brought goods back myself after holidaying in Asia.

I would have LIKED to ship the goods to you by early September at the latest, but ALAS! A delivery got delayed BAD over in Asia. Literally wasted 3 weeks waiting for that one lot to get dispatched. (งツ)ว

Even when the goods eventually got on a plane on its way to the UK, I was still fretting! Checking the tracking page every few hours questioning WHY OH WHY it hasn’t landed at Heathrow yet.

On the grand scheme of things, there was thankfully no serious disruption. Nevertheless, those aforementioned small inconveniences were a reminder that things AREN’T operating as normal around the world right now.

Thank you for trusting me enough to endure the wait! No one blew up my inbox demanding where their goods are lol. Although I’m sure new customers were anxious about it!!!!!

Late, but Mission Accomplished!

After all the waiting, packages were finally mailed out this week! (21 & 22 September)

If you participated in the July Group Order or bought leftovers recently, your goods will be coming your way soon! 😀

Autumn themed tape to match autumn shipping (Group Orders is just an excuse to buy cute stationery lol)

• UK: All of you should have received your packages by now
• Europe: You should get them by end of next week
• US & Rest of the world: Probably within 2 weeks
• South America: How ever long you usually expect overseas packages to arrive eek

A shipping notification email was sent to everyone. If you chose tracked airmail, then a second email was sent with the tracking number. 🙂

One Last Thank You

Just want to say thank you again for making this Group Order happen. 🙂

Hell, we weren’t able operate for half a year and 2020 could have gone down the drain ENTIRELY. I paid all the operating costs at the start of the year and was ready to write it all off as a loss. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m thankful that many of you, old and new customers, chose to join HachiSales for another round of shopping! You help pay the bills around here! And so HachiSales shall live for another year!!

No but really, 2020 is a challenging year for many people in different ways. Consequently, if you are still able to join our Group Order, that is very much appreciated and I hope the goods will bring you a bit of joy during these stressful times. 🙂

What Next?

Everything is dictated by corona these days! We are just a leaf flowing in the ocean at her whim!!!!!!!!!!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But if corona would kindly let us make a plan….

I would LIKE to hold one more Group Order at the end of October 2020. 

• Early October is public holidays in Asia, no use doing anything, so we shall open the Group Orders near the end of the month
• Order the goods in early November
• Get them shipped to the UK by end of November
• Ship the goods out to you guys in early December, before Christmas rush

That’s the aim for now.

Now gotta wait and see if dear corona lets us do it!!
